Preston England Temple & Grounds

Not far from Southport is the Preston Temple. What a beautiful place. It looked really big, I was quite shocked. The grounds surrounding the temple were lovely and just down the road was the Stake Centre, Family History Centre, Distribution Centre, Accommodation and a Missionary Training Centre. What a special place, I am so glad we got to see it.

AWESOME. I had a goal when I was like 21 (probably when I was on my mission) to go to as many Temples around the world as I could. I have lived in Colorado for a year and haven't even been to the Temple here that is an hour away. I'm SOOOO SLACK. I mean I haven't even driven past it for a look. And then all the ones in Utah I could have been to...but didn't. I guess I still have a lot of years to go..ha ha

i want to come visit you guys!! You are having such an adventure. That Temple looks so beautiful (as they all are). I would love to go inside.
love ALL your photos and recent posts... jealous of the sunny warm weather- it's been cold and wet here.

Hey Hannah, the Temple is huge and beautiful. It's nice to see the ones that are different, now that we have so many the same.
You look like you are all having a great time, i'm glad it has been going so well. I love all the history to all those places, something we don't really have here.
Enjoy the time with your parents.

I am surprised at how big the temple is. I thought it might be like the ones here, being a newer one. We have been thinking of you as you go to collect Deb and Gary. We can't wait for our 4 weeks to go so we can be there with you too. Have fun and enjoy your time together.

I dont think I have ever seen preston temple. It is beautiful and I just love the gardens around it. I look forward to being able to see Temples (outside of Australia) on day when matt finally takes me overseas!

Because everyday is different and we can't remember them all, I thought I had better start writing them down. Welcome to life in the Challis home - where everyday is different!
