I had a birthday

Yes, I had a birthday! On 07.07.2009 I turned 27. It was the day after we got home from London, so we were all happy to just take it easy! Mick had the day off because he worked all weekend so it was extra special that he got to spend the day with us. We all went out for lunch and then Mick and I went to the movies in the evening - something we haven't done in a very long time!! The cinemas here were interesting - they actually allocate you a seat!! (kinda weird). We ate popcorn and lollies and filled up on fizzy!!

I received lots of cards and messages and got a voucher to spend at White Stuff so it was a pretty great day!

they allocate seats here too, Han. But if it is not full, I just sit where I want anyway!!

I wish they allocated seats here so that I didn't have to 'save' 10 seats the other day!!!

I want some of that cake!!

"Happy Birthday Hannah" sounds like you had a nice day. It's always nice when our husbands can be home to help out, but even better that it was your Birthday! and the voucher sounds great! Vouchers are the best... and that's your favourite shop isn't it?

Happy happy belated birthday to you...
you know that was how it used to be in "the good old days" with allotted movie ticketed seats... i used to be an usher at our local theatre and had to usher people to their seats with a torch if the movie had started...ask grandma June about those days...poppy Des was a theatre manager....they must just about be there by now ??? or was the USA their first destination???

Im very crap at blogging lately Han! Sorry I missed wishing you happy birthday. What did you get at White Stuff. I checked out their website after you mentioned it months ago! And after reading some more it sounds like you got your lap top back... is this right???

Because everyday is different and we can't remember them all, I thought I had better start writing them down. Welcome to life in the Challis home - where everyday is different!
