Launceston

We thought it appropriate to visit Launceston while our Launceston visitors were here, although it ended up being a 'drive through' effort, which we later regretted, wishing we had a bit more of look around. They actually say it more like 'Lawn-ston' here though, but other than that it is exactly like Tasmania's Launceston - 11th century castle, steam railway and narrow streets!! It really is going to be strange returning to Australia!

So now we have been to England's Launceston in Cornwall! We are certainly getting lots of our 'places to go in England' ticked off, which is just as well because we only have 3 1/2 months to go.... wow, makes me feel weird saying that!! (weird cause it's just as exciting as it is sad!)

I still can't get over the narrow streets and trying to negotiate our way through.

Ican't believe you only have 3 1/2 months left! GEE that has gone fast!!! Can'twait for you guys to come home though :)

Because everyday is different and we can't remember them all, I thought I had better start writing them down. Welcome to life in the Challis home - where everyday is different!
