Last week was a strange week - Mick was on night shift so we never really knew what day it was! It seemed to come and go quickly though, but left us both exhausted. Mick had to stay back at work for the first few days, to try and get some more of this never ending England paper work done. So we didn't see much of him. I can't believe how much paperwork there is... you wouldn't think that we had the same Queen!! We have already started paying for things in pounds and it's all a little to confusing if you ask me! Everything does seem to be working out though - we have a car lined up for when we get there (buying it from one of Micks Friends (from the Royal) who is moving back a few weeks before we get there) and she is leaving it full of stuff that she won't bother sending home - cutlery, shoes, books etc... so that is kinda cool, and very nice of her. She will be leaving it in Taunton at another one of Mick's friends places. (Someone that came and worked here for a few years) He has a young family too - so I might have 1 friend in Taunton at least! I'm getting very excited about it all and want the days to hurry up actually.
Anyway... back to last week - so Mick didn't get a real lot of sleep last week and neither did I! - I always tend to stay up extra late when he's not here because I can never get to sleep - So I don't go to bed until I'm practically falling off the chair!
I had a nice week though and got a chance to catch up with quite a few friends, attend another Kaszazz party, got some scrapping done, did some exercise, got the last of my reunion invites done and went out to dinner with some of the cousins! (I'm really going to miss these girlies).
We had no 'lookers' this week, which, in a way was what I needed. Having them every few days was just to much for me, and all I was thinking about was the house and wanting it to sell. So it was nice to have a break from all that stress... I'm now at the point where I know that it will sell when it's ready and if it doesn't - then I guess that's the way it's suppose to be!
Our week ended in the perfect way. We attended the Stake Relief Society Musical Fireside which was all about Christ. The speakers were wonderful and the music was beautiful. (Mick was there because he was singing) I felt very uplifted spiritually and I'm really looking forward to celebrating Christmas this year.
We left the kids with Ange and Leigh at the last minute and they ended up staying for a sleepover. So we got to have a BIG sleep-in Sunday morning, which we really appreciated. What a perfect way to end the week!
Leilani was very excited that 'this time Emily had a sleepover too!' Thanks again Carmichael Family! Must be our turn to hold a sleepover I think!!
So we are now another week closer to Christmas... I wonder what this week will bring?!

so thats why you're tired. I'm a bit sad I missed the fireside. looks like Lani and Emily had fun at the sleepover.
Wow a car. That is very exciting. It will beat the public transport I bet. Glad things are all falling into place, it really must be meant to be.
We will miss you though!!!! Can't belive it's only a couple more months.........
