Bruny Island

On Saturday the 1st November we found ourselves on Bruny Island. The place I have more childhood memories than ever other (except home I guess). We headed over on the 9.30am Ferry and met up with Dad, Elle and the Sayers Family.
The kids had an absolute ball at Great Bay Beach while the boys where out trying to catch some fish. The water was so calm and had no waves crashing in, small sand islands to walk out to and shells and rocks to play with. Charlotte, Bella, Leilani and Emily all got in the water and had such a lovely time. Don't have any photos of this part, only movie which is a shame - but we got plenty of shots of everything else!

This is our short stop at Trumpeter Bay before we headed home - it was a little windy over this side but the sand was very warm.

These two remind me of Leigh and Scott - not that long ago!

The girls having a ride on the boat - I was very impressed, because if it wasn't for Charlotte saying she wanted a ride I don't think Lani would have ever got in - she never has before!!!

Everyone checking out all the fish we didn't catch!!! Couldn't believe it really, Matt was the only one who caught fish - and only 2!! We ALWAYS catch flathead at Great Bay - and it's usually a lot!! I was very disappointed that we had no fish for tea! Guess there is always next time!

Look at these two cuties!!

Had to put this photo of Lani on - check out her face - she must have got a pip or something!! lol

And who is this spunk!??

We had a great day, even though a few of us ended up a little red the next day! Thanks for taking us fishing Dad - hopefully we will catch something on the 29th

how fun for you all. looks like it was beautiful weather too. I love the photos of the girls- gorgeous.

Because everyday is different and we can't remember them all, I thought I had better start writing them down. Welcome to life in the Challis home - where everyday is different!
