Animal Farm Adventure Park

On Thursday we went for a drive to Brean, which is about 45 minutes north, it's  between Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare (just had to tell you that because some of the names here are so funny!!) They have an Animal Farm Adventure Park there so we thought we would go and check it out. It wasn't really a very nice day weather wise but we thought we would go anyway. It was just nice to finally get out of Taunton. This has pretty much been our first chance so we were excited. It was a good day but not long after being there we felt kinda unprepared!! But with no one here to tell you what to expect you are left to live and learn!!! It was pretty much a big farm with lots of mud, animals and outdoor playing equipment as well as a big soft play area (pretty much like Kidz Bizz). We felt unprepared mainly because we didn't have our 'wellys' with us, and walking around in wet grass and mud kinda sucks without boots on! We also made the mistake of doing the outside stuff first and not bringing a change of clothes! By the time we had fed all the animals the kids had mud on their trousers so it was kinda hard and uncomfortable for them to play in the soft play area!!! Anyway, we now know what to expect at these play parks, which is good because there seems to be heaps of them - animals/soft play areas. I guess it's a good idea really... if you know to wear your gumboots!!

We only took a few photos cause we got too caught up dodging the mud and feeding the animals... and it was pretty cold!!

We were also a little disappointed because some of the 'attractions' were closed, like the green train!!! Always the way at these places!

Because everyday is different and we can't remember them all, I thought I had better start writing them down. Welcome to life in the Challis home - where everyday is different!
