Our Car

On Friday (the day after we got here) we met our new car! It's a 1999 Peugeot 406 and quite classy with electric leather seats, seat warmers, sun roof and electric windows. It goes okay, not like the new hire cars we have been driving around in but it will do us fine!  We are glad that we have it because it makes life a whole lot easier... especially in this freezing cold weather. You have to pay for parking pretty much everywhere here though, even just to get the groceries!! It's kinda annoying. We met a very nice parking instructor the other day though... because our parking bay had expired by about an hour and a half because we got stuck at the bank. We turned up just as he was about to write a ticket out, but he let us off... so we were very grateful, and lucky!!
