We have been looked after so much already it's unbelievable! We bought our car from a girl that Mick worked with at the Royal so she left it here full of stuff for us. It has been great, and a big help to get us set up. We have also been blessed to meet a lovely family already who have been so kind to us. Mick met Boris a few years ago when he came to Hobart to work for 12 months. They have kept in contact and even more so over the past few months. On Saturday Boris' wife Helen called us up and invited us to have lunch with them. We were still a little tired and jet lagged but it felt so good to get out of the house. They have 3 girls (apparently Anesthetists are known to have more girls than boys!!!!) Zara is 6, Lucy 4 and Imogen 2. We didn't take any pictures as we thought that may have been a little rude on our first play date but our girls had a great time playing with their girls and especially with all their toys. Helen and Boris are both really nice, relaxed and easy going people. They live out in the country (which is only a few miles away) in a pretty big house, which they only bought about a month ago. They have lent us lots of great things, including a car seat, TV, pram, sheets, books and toys. The girls have been very happy playing with the the dolls clothes, blankets and pram they lent us. What a blessing. We had a great afternoon with them and they have helped us out so much. Because they lived in Australia for 12months it felt they knew exactly what we were going through and what we needed. Lani was very excited about meeting some new friends and when we got home se said "when we are finished going around the whole world I am going to tell Grandma that I made some new friends!" She was so happy and has asked a few time when we are going back!

Because everyday is different and we can't remember them all, I thought I had better start writing them down. Welcome to life in the Challis home - where everyday is different!
