The Moving Day When We Didn't Move

So on Saturday we had a bit of a drama day getting the keys for our new place! We didn't end up staying the night until Sunday because by the time we got in and worked out how to get the heaters going it was too late to start moving anything and we couldn't be bothered!
Anyway, while we were waiting for the keys the girls got to know their new 'outside area'!

Up there is where we park the car, so it's not 'just outside the door' which kinda sucks, but I think most places here are like that, and I don't think we will be using the car all that much anyway!

They had fun outside running around while we waited but they really did just want to go inside!!

Down this lane is 'The High Street' so we are really close to everything. Which is fantastic because parking the car in the town centre is a bit crazy and is quite expensive. So now we can just walk everywhere - I love it! We are close to the shops, the supermarkets, the pool, the Library and the hall that they have Baby Ballet in (I just need to ring up and get the girls booked in). Mick is a 15 minute walk from work away and we are about a 5 minute drive from Church. Inside pictures coming soon!!!!

Oh wow - it sounds great!!! So nice to be so close to everything. Can't wait to see inside.

Good to see you are dragging it out and keeping us in suspense. The girls look happy. I imagine they are happy to have a bigger TV to watch.

It looks so picturesque with the little lane weaving it's way to the High Street. We are getting excited about seeing it all. We love the name "Whirligig!!!!".
Glad we have an address now for all the letters and cards. Love always, Mum and dad.

Because everyday is different and we can't remember them all, I thought I had better start writing them down. Welcome to life in the Challis home - where everyday is different!
