National Marine Aquarium

Saturday took us for a drive to Plymouth... which is on the coast - about a 2 hour drive away. Mick has been here twice already because he has to come down once a fortnight for work. So we thought we would all go and check this place out. We decided to go to the National Marine Aquarium. It was quite fun!

We got to see 2 divers in the tank feeding all the fishies!

There were 3 big sharks in the Mediterranean Sea tank, we liked Bruce the best...

And Finding Nemo was exciting! Dory was there too, but she came out blurry (no flash allowed, so taking pictures in the low light was a bit hard).

The glow in dark room totally cracked the girls up.

But my favourite was the big Turtle, reminded me of swimming with them in Hawaii!!!  (Where we definitely didn't touch them!)

The aquarium was pretty cool, with 3 huge tanks and lots of different viewing rooms. We all enjoyed it, and felt pretty special standing next to the Tasmanian sea horses!

Beautiful, beautiful gardens - now that we know we can grow grass (and keep it alive) we might try a few other things again...
Emily cracks me up-her expressions are sooo funny! Love the pic of Lani getting into that cake hehe :)
Oh and all the wee lil' fishies look so cool, so much fun for the kiddies.
xx.

I love aquariums! Looks like you are having lots of fun over there. We went to Jac's today, had SEVEN kids between us!! Was crazy stuff. Halle wouldn't walk on the grass so she just slid along gathering mud and grass... ! We missed you guys, you probably would have freaked out at how grubby the kids got though:)

The girls look like they are having so much fun. Thanks for keeping us in touch with all the adventures. Love you heaps.

Because everyday is different and we can't remember them all, I thought I had better start writing them down. Welcome to life in the Challis home - where everyday is different!
