Elena's Birthday Party

On Saturday morning the girls were invited to Elena's 3rd birthday party. There were lots of children there because Elena was having a combined party with her sister Emma, who was turning 7. The girls were excited to see Lucas there and had fun getting to know some more of the kids from church. (Lucas is the little boy in the first picture).

Elena entertained us all with her candle blowing! (That's her dad there - he is our bishop)

Lani and Emily were so excited to see the big bear at the party and ran right up to him (NOT!!) But they did enjoy watching from a distance!!!!

Mick was working all weekend so it was nice for us to have somewhere to go. I met a few more people and caught up with Maria some more. It was good to see the kids playing with the others children and having fun.

that's awesome. Kids really do make it easy to meet people and you don't even have to have anything in common with them - just kids. It looks like the girls are fitting in okay. Do ppl notice their accent or are they talking like English ppl already??

That's great that you are meeting some new people and the girls have some new friends to play with :)

Wow your Bishop looks young!

Because everyday is different and we can't remember them all, I thought I had better start writing them down. Welcome to life in the Challis home - where everyday is different!
